Twilight Co Stars Compete
The Twilight co-stars may be the best of buds on and off screen, but there’s a slight competition between all of them.
For Twilight, the competition is between Edward and Jacob trying to win over Bella’s love, so far Edward has always won! Now when it comes to the off-screen competition, it is just between the men and it’s not about winning over someone’s love, no it is a different matter entirely.
It’s about who spend the most hours in the gym!
That’s right, Peter Facinelli who plays Carlisle Cullen in the movie, tells all about this competition to ‘Bang Showbiz’,
“We had this kind of unspoken competition between all of us. Working out is addictive enough and then you have all the cast members working out.”
Well no wonder they all looked more toned and buff for the second movie that joined the sequel, they’re all competing against each other, but there’s just one person who is more in the lead than anyone else (and this is someone who took the competition very seriously according to Peter). That someone was Kellen Lutz who plays the character of Emmett Cullen.
Apparently Peter caught Kellen once, “on the floor doing push ups waiting for the elevator”, after seeing that Peter then admitted that he literally put his hands up and said, “Ok, you win.” I wonder what Kellen thought of that, probably amused.
But then Kellen’s character requires him to be fit and more buff then the others, so any spare time he has he must be working out, so why not do a few push ups whilst waiting for the elevator.
What’s more is, as Peter goes on to tell, if you couldn’t find someone or wanted to find someone on set, there is only one place that they’ll be…the gym! Peter said, “Everyone was always in the gym – whenever you wanted to find someone you just headed to the gym.”
