There have many rumours lately that bosses from the successful soap Eastenders are going to be axing more than just a few characters from the soap and it seems that they are in fact going to go ahead with the plan.
Apparently bosses from the soap want to have a mass chop of a load of characters and yes that means, all in one hit! So what could they do that will eliminate a bunch of Eastenders characters in one go and still seem realistic?
Of course, there’s got to be a fire! All of these characters who will be leaving the show have to go out with a bang, right? So there is one place in Albert Square that bosses have chosen to hold the fire, a place where most of the drama and entertaining scenes go down…The Queen Vic!
That’s right, at some point in the latter part of this year the Queen Vic will come face to face with a vicious fire and Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) will say her final words in the square.
She is the only confirmed character, that Female First picked up on, to be leaving the soap because of the fire, but how all that drama will take place exactly is something we’ll just have to wait for.
Peggy maybe the only confirmed character to leave by the Queen Vic fire, but there are a few more who could also be leaving the show this year and may to be caught in the blaze. They are as follows:
Lacey Turner who plays Stacey Slater
Derek Martin who plays Charlie Slater
Tiana Benjamin who plays Chelsea Fox
Plus there is still more characters who will face the fury of the Queen Vic fire, we just don’t know who they are yet!

Zoe Lucker will be joining the Eastenders characters in an up and coming storyline and she will be playing a very flirtatious role. In fact, this role is so flirtatious that Zoe is stunned by how much front her character has got and said (as Female First picked up on), she’d “never do that in real life!”
She is playing the character, who goes by the name of ‘Vanessa Gold’ and will become crush that Max Branning develops for her. Jake Wood’s character (Max Branning) has been pretty down in the dumps lately, obviously due to recent events that have taken place, so it would be nice to see a bit of colour in his cheeks again!
The first time these characters meet in the square; they both don’t give of the required impression. This is what Zoe had to say,
“Vanessa comes to the car lot to buy a motor for her daughter. But Max thinks she’s probably just some time waster. Vanessa’s used to men falling at her feet. Max isn’t interested, so she’s intrigued. After they complete the deal she hands him her card and tells him to call her.”
Still when this character called Vanessa Gold enters the square, not many people know much about her or her other half. All that the residents and actors know and will know about this new character is that she is “married” and has “been n a relationship for 20 years.” Plus her other half drinks whiskey and plays golf, but that is about it.
Other then the above information, this new character is a complete mystery to us all, so who knows what the real meaning is for her stay in Albert Square! We will just have to wait and see when she joins the show, but we hope Zoe does well.

The Amira, Syed and Christian ‘love triangle’ storyline that took its time being aired on our TV screens, from the TV soap Eastenders was probably one of the most intense and successful storylines ever.
It really got into the top 10 of the ‘Greatest Storyline’s. And the actress Preeya Kalidas who played the character of Amira has said that she “loved” being a part of such a “fantastic storyline” – she really thought she was able to give a lot and put a lot into it.
Plus, as Female First states, she is going to start up a ‘pop career’ now that her Eastenders role has finished. But even though she was excited about filming her final scenes on the set as there was a lot of emotion to cover and portray, that final experience was also hard on her too as it was her final day. This is what she had to say,
“The final scenes were emotional and traumatic because it was also my last day of filming in the show so there were some real tears. But I loved being part of such a fantastic storyline, it was great working with such amazing actors and he effect that it had on the public watching, we’ve had a really great response.”
You can tell, just by the way Preeya talks about her time on the soap, that she loved every minute of it as she kept coming out with the same descriptive word when she described certain things. During an interview at the Empire Leicester Square Cinema for a world premiere of 4.3.2.1., last Tuesday Preeya revealed -
Amazing opportunity”
“Amazing projects”
“Amazing actors”
As you know all ready, we Eastenders fans loved your final storyline and even though we are sad to see you leave the soap, we hope that you get on well with your new path of career choice!

Lately the Eastenders storylines have been one blow to the next and Christian literally got a blow to the head, but even though it’s a new week the mood is not moving, well it’s got some sparks but even sparks can be put out.
Ryan finally got a dose of magic from the ‘realisation fairy’ and figured out Janine has been playing a game with him and lying or as the ‘TV Guide’ put it; he can see right through her lies! The bombshell hit when he mysteriously lost £500, so in a situation like this there is only one direction that he can point his finger.
If you want to see the scheming Janine being found out, in action, then tune into Eastenders tonight from 7:30pm and you won’t miss a thing.
Tomorrow, Janine and Ryan will be taking a back seat from some Albert Square action but will then be returning back on scene this Thursday; the jump in storyline here s quite astonishing.
On Monday Ryan is going to display hate for Janine, but on Thursday they both discover how attractive the other person is…so what’s Ryan’s feeling going to be like for Janine now?
Janine has always been one of those characters that always got hit with karma, that saying “what comes around, goes around” well Janine has always been the perfect target for that, although in this case things are looking up – but have I spoke to soon?
Frankly, yes I may have done as on Friday Janine is back to her scheming, plotting self and decides to set up a “challenge” for Ryan. Now the TV Guide says this new game Janine has conjured up “could end in tears”, but the question is for whom? Janine, Ryan or has she brought someone else into the picture? Well it looks like we’ll just have to keep chasing this storyline until Friday.

Bryon Kirkwood is shaking things up on the soap of Eastenders by axing some of the characters to allow news ones to enter Albert Square, and recently some of the famous faces that will be leaving the show have been revealed.
So now Devon Anderson is constantly on edge at the minute as he fears he will be next to be axed! Devon, who plays Billie Jackson in the soap, has already crossed paths with the producer beforehand when he was acting in ‘Hollyoaks’ back in the year if 2007.
Bryan was also the producer of that channel 4 soap back then and decided to axe Devon from his role, so you can bet Devon is getting himself prepared for the worst and is totally scared of losing his role in the BBC1 show.
The Daily Star newspaper was contacted by one of Devon’s pals and they revealed, “Now Bryan has got his feet under the table he’s already axed a number of characters and Devon fears he could be next.” I don’t blame him, if his already been axed once by the same man there’s no reason why he wouldn’t turn round and do it again!
Plus, recently Devon was banned from attending the British Soap Awards that took place on Saturday 8th May – this was due to the fact that he was advertising clothes on Twitter which is something you can’t do according to the BBC rule book. A representative for the BBC1 spoke out and said,
“Devon was due to attend the event on Saturday but the invitation was withdrawn. It’s a private matter.”

Recently it’s been stated that the bosses of Eastenders is going to be axing some of the characters over the next few months, so here is a heads up of who they’ll be axing this year.
Charlie Jones has been playing the character of Ben Mitchell (Phil’s son) for the last 4 years and well, now bosses think he has outlived his role. They are in the process right now of creating a storyline that will rid him out of Albert Square, but if it’ll be a permanent leave or just a breeze, will be the surprise – a surprise that will have to wait until summer to be found out.
According from information that Female First found out; his ending story line is going to be structured around the hate he conceals for his younger sister Louise – how BBC1 bosses are going to figure that one out, I don’t know but I suppose that’s where all the excitement will come from.
But Ben won’t be the only character leaving Albert Square that we know about already anyway. Other actors that will be saying their farewells to the East End soap are the likes of,
Tiana Benjamin who plays the character of Chelsea Fox
Derek Martin who plays the character of Charlie Slater
Cliff Parisi who plays the character if Minty
So if Albert Square is going to be losing residents in the next couple of months, wouldn’t that mean there will be some new vacancies on the square, vacancies that will be up for grabs for newcomers?
Yes, that is exactly what that means and that is exactly what the BBC bosses have got in mind. One of the new faces to walk the streets in Eastenders will be an actress from the series ‘Footballers Wives’ and she is Zoe Tucker. Her role in the square will be a ‘love interest’ for Max Branning who is played by Jake Wood.
You could say that Eastenders is getting all shaken up!

For the last couple of week Syed has had one of the most troubled storylines going on in Eastenders and then having to confront his parents about his sexuality after they caught him in the act with Christian, wasn’t a very pleasant episode.
But I think after finding out the lies Masood’s wife Zainab was keeping from him he finally came to terms about his son being homosexual. Tomorrow night is the night when the forgiveness starts, but personally I think the wrong person is being forgiven.
Thursday night’s episode will see Masood putting together a family meeting and in this meeting he decides to forgive his son for his sexuality. Yes that doesn’t make sense really, Syed’s father should be apologising to his son for his and his wife’s recent actions on the matter but I suppose with that Albert Square family; you have to take what you can get.
Of course Syed’s just happy about being accepted but the obvious soon reveals itself as Syed cannot just forget and leave Christian – so I wonder where will that leave the pair. Will they both have a happy ending together? Then again, this is soap land we are talking about, so looking back at Eastenders track records, not likely.
Billy’s money issues are becoming a bigger and bigger problem day by day, but what can he do being a full-time father and all. Billy’s always had a pretty hard life so can’t Eastenders do something that will cheer the old man up, remember he has got kids now and he needs a helping hand. Plus Ronnie is in the making of raising money for Jack’s private care, but her plan may not have the best consequences.
So if you want to see all of this put into action on your TV screens then join BBC1 between the hours of 7:30pm and 8:00pm this Thursday night, the 6th May. You really don’t want to miss the forgiveness scene!

In Eastenders this week it is going to be a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with highs and lows popping in and out from all sorts of corners, but there is going to be a main focus point – Christian’s and Syed’s affair.
Tonight’s episode has brought yet another character up to scratch about what’s been going on between the two men and that person is Masood. Syed’s own dad caught him in the act of cheating on his wife Amira, so obviously he weren’t a happy bunny and if you want to see his reaction make sure you turn on your TV tonight – his face is going to be priceless.
But sadly any glimmer of hope that Christian may have had about him and Syed finally getting together, we all be shattered on Tuesday night’s airing. Amira has got some very surprising news for the whole family and that alone could determine the boy’s future in an instance.
I don’t about you guys but to me it sounds a bit like a new addition may already be coming to Syed’s and Amira’s family; that’s right I think she’s pregnant.
Obviously Zainab is over the moon to hear Amira’s news as whatever it may be, will make her son consider his future with Amira more seriously and hopefully this news will lean him towards staying with Amira instead of leaving her for Christian.
So Zainab wants to celebrate and what better way to do that then throwing a great party, a party in which Masood can’t invite Christian too.
Friday’s episode is when we really see Christian take matters into his own hands but who will he choose to take revenge on? Has Syed messed him around for the last time? All of this takes place after Amira’s father comes to give his congratulations and Syed’s parents try to make him do what is best for them – how will this tragic love story end?
It all goes on in soap land that is for sure.

For some reason the Enders crew has bagged a full hour slot this Thursday to broadcast an episode of the soap Eastenders, so you can bet their is going to be more action taking place then the usual.
Already this week has been full of drama and action and there has only been 1 show broadcasted so far, as last night’s episode showed the Slaters and Stacey reunite (everything all bubbly there), Ian keeping Lucy’s abortion a secret from Jane, Billie was being tested by his old gang and Shirley even came up with an idea. Did not see that coming!
All of that took place in just 30 minutes, so the hour long show on Thursday should be a blast! However there is still 1 more day to wait for the big night and just 1 more episode to be watched to and that’s tonight’s.
Stacey seems to be the one who everyone wants to be closest too as there’s a little bit of drama going on between Jean and Becca as they fight for her attention (I bet they wouldn’t be doing that if they really knew what she had done). Janine and Ryan have got another scheme up their sleeves to and you can guess what for…money.
These 2 episodes have been a build up to Thursday’s special and the tension will keep on rising during it airs on our small screens. Things start to get quite terrifying at Lauren’s birthday party when a guest turns up uninvited with a bit more than just themselves…a gun is also occupying their hand!
Sometimes doing the right thing can get you in a lot of trouble as Billie will find out at the birthday party – we see him leave his violent ways and gang behind him for the final time, but obviously they didn’t take his parting too kindly.
There is more taking place this Thursday in Albert Square, but it looks like you’ll just have to tune in to find out what else Eastenders has got planned to entertain us.

Tonight is the night that all us Eastenders fans have been waiting for, well that is if you read about the sneaky spoiler leaked when Eastenders let the cat out the bag a few weeks ago regarding Stacey being found by Max!
That’s right the 26th March is finally here and shortly so will be that ‘hopefully’ action packed episode of Eastenders. It’s been stated that Max may get a little too heavy handed with his daughter in law and possibly risk the health of her baby!
Why is another matter entirely! After weeks of snide comments, listening to everyone believe that Bradley was in fact Archie’s killer; sadly he wasn’t able to clear his name when he died in the live episode those few weeks ago that now seems like a life time ago.
Well it is clear that Max has finally had enough of keeping Stacey’s secret, the real killer, he wants her to set his son’s innocence straight. Wouldn’t we all if we knew the truth and was in that situation?
The Slater’s have never been an easy bunch of eggs to crack, so Stacey is not going to let her guard down easily even if she has changed her last name. She’s going to make sure that Max knows Bradley did have a part in the murder and that she wasn’t all to blame, but didn’t many of the other Enders characters have a little involvement on Archie’s way out of the soap? Well they did have to blame it on someone.
Still I hope there next storyline that Ender’s bring has nothing to do with Stacey’s baby dying or anything bad happen to it – after losing her husband on the day of the wedding is enough tragedy in their life as it is, she’s going to need some kind of happiness to keep her going.
Or maybe the rumours about their new boss axing a load of Albert Square characters could mean Stacey may be one of them………who knows, so we will just have to wait and see!
