Strictly Come Dancing Wants Derek Hough
Currently Derek Hough and his dance partner Nicole Scherzinger are competing in the dance competition ‘Dancing with the Stars’. This is a US series and is similar to Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking of Strictly Come Dancing; it’s coming back to our TV screens in a few months time and guess who they want to be starring as one of their professional dancers…only Derek Hough! This dancing star seems to be in high demand after dancing in the lead with Cheryl Cole in her music video ‘Parachute’.
After the split between her and Ashley, Derek and Cheryl were spotted getting very close to each other; obviously she was going to like the company and it was rumoured that they spent a lot of time together are “very close” friends according to Female First.
A source leaked to the Sun that “Derek has been asked to join ‘Strictly’ and he’s incredibly keen to do so.” That may have something to do with being in the same country as Cheryl (and seeing more of her) when she is judging on the X Factor as these 2 reality shows air around about the same time.
Their source also let slip that more or less the reason why he wants to join the show is so that he can win it by beating the Geordie, he wants “to take Cheryl on.” Since the singer started the show she hasn’t lost a year yet so she’s probably expecting to win for the third time except if her friend Derek does take Strictly Come Dancing up on their offer then she’ll be competing with one other person, aside from her fellow judges.
It would be nice though, to have some new, fresh, good looking male dancers making their way to the stage and that may just be a wish come true, as it rumoured that some of the current dancers on Strictly are leaving.
We’ll just have to wait and see if Derek Hough does decide to bless the people of Britain with his dancing!
