For the last couple of week Syed has had one of the most troubled storylines going on in Eastenders and then having to confront his parents about his sexuality after they caught him in the act with Christian, wasn’t a very pleasant episode.
But I think after finding out the lies Masood’s wife Zainab was keeping from him he finally came to terms about his son being homosexual. Tomorrow night is the night when the forgiveness starts, but personally I think the wrong person is being forgiven.
Thursday night’s episode will see Masood putting together a family meeting and in this meeting he decides to forgive his son for his sexuality. Yes that doesn’t make sense really, Syed’s father should be apologising to his son for his and his wife’s recent actions on the matter but I suppose with that Albert Square family; you have to take what you can get.
Of course Syed’s just happy about being accepted but the obvious soon reveals itself as Syed cannot just forget and leave Christian – so I wonder where will that leave the pair. Will they both have a happy ending together? Then again, this is soap land we are talking about, so looking back at Eastenders track records, not likely.
Billy’s money issues are becoming a bigger and bigger problem day by day, but what can he do being a full-time father and all. Billy’s always had a pretty hard life so can’t Eastenders do something that will cheer the old man up, remember he has got kids now and he needs a helping hand. Plus Ronnie is in the making of raising money for Jack’s private care, but her plan may not have the best consequences.
So if you want to see all of this put into action on your TV screens then join BBC1 between the hours of 7:30pm and 8:00pm this Thursday night, the 6th May. You really don’t want to miss the forgiveness scene!

Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Sasha Valentine in the soap Hollyoaks, is due to leave in just a few months time and that will be the month of June. The character, Sasha, has literally been through hell and back; she has had to live through some really traumatising story lines and because of that fact Nathalie wants her character to leave the village of Hollyoaks with a “happy ending”.
When she attended Pixie Lott’s new fashion range launch party, she spoke to ‘BANG Showbiz’ and said,
“That girl has gone through so much I just want her to have a happy ending. I know it would be more dramatic if she got killed off but I’d feel better if I knew she was content with her life.”
Some of the things that have been tragic in her life are, to name a few, beating a heroin addiction that took over her life and the worst, seeing her own brother being shot dead – 2 very unpleasant circumstances to deal with. So why should it end up that Sasha has to die as well, shouldn’t she be able to leave on her terms and as Nathalie continued to say, “If they don’t kill Sasha off, I may return one day!”
It’s always hard to leave a group of people when you’ve been working with them for so long so obviously she’s “sad” to be leaving the show, but opportunities will be in the horizon for this young actor so she has got lots to look forward to.
Well we don’t know what the Hollyoaks team have got planned for Sasha’s ending storyline and neither does she as they haven’t shot those final scenes yet, but the one thing we do know is that she’ll be leaving the show in June. So if you keep watching the episodes, you may even spot a story building and guess the ending before it happens!

In Eastenders this week it is going to be a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with highs and lows popping in and out from all sorts of corners, but there is going to be a main focus point – Christian’s and Syed’s affair.
Tonight’s episode has brought yet another character up to scratch about what’s been going on between the two men and that person is Masood. Syed’s own dad caught him in the act of cheating on his wife Amira, so obviously he weren’t a happy bunny and if you want to see his reaction make sure you turn on your TV tonight – his face is going to be priceless.
But sadly any glimmer of hope that Christian may have had about him and Syed finally getting together, we all be shattered on Tuesday night’s airing. Amira has got some very surprising news for the whole family and that alone could determine the boy’s future in an instance.
I don’t about you guys but to me it sounds a bit like a new addition may already be coming to Syed’s and Amira’s family; that’s right I think she’s pregnant.
Obviously Zainab is over the moon to hear Amira’s news as whatever it may be, will make her son consider his future with Amira more seriously and hopefully this news will lean him towards staying with Amira instead of leaving her for Christian.
So Zainab wants to celebrate and what better way to do that then throwing a great party, a party in which Masood can’t invite Christian too.
Friday’s episode is when we really see Christian take matters into his own hands but who will he choose to take revenge on? Has Syed messed him around for the last time? All of this takes place after Amira’s father comes to give his congratulations and Syed’s parents try to make him do what is best for them – how will this tragic love story end?
It all goes on in soap land that is for sure.

A new series of Strictly Come Dancing will later on in the year, be aired on our TV screens once again with yet another bundle of hopeful celebrities and I just can’t wait.
Each with the determination to win the 2010 series, but just which celebs will be taking part is still a mystery apart from one candidate who may be dancing her way in the spotlight.
The ex-member of Sugababe’s, Keisha, has reportedly been asked whether she would a like to join in with this year’s series and dance with a professional dancer – who knows if she accepts it may be a fresh start for the struggling singer.
We may even see a different side to her, the one that doesn’t involved ‘bullying’ – which is what she was branded by her former band members and essentially kicked out of the group.
Recently Keisha has been recording a solo album in the USA, but seeing as she’s probably lost a good chunk of her fans no one knows how well her new album will do. So appearing on Strictly Come Dancing might give her reputation the boost that is so obviously needs and get her fans back.
This should also help her new album to start selling millions (but of course it has to be good in the first instance).
How will the public react to the outcast singer taking part in a family show, is the question on my lips? It’s been commented on Female First by pals, that Keisha has been very busy lately and will be busy getting her solo tracks up to scratch but she would really like to appear on the show; seeing as it is the only one that she’ll apparently “ever consider”.
Well we’ll just have to wait until the show is ready to air on our TV screens with a full load of contestants taking part – who knows Keisha may just be one in that herd of celebrities!

Finally John revealed his teaching plans to Fizz on Monday night’s episode of Corrie, but obviously the red-haired character didn’t take the news to well. Would anyone be alright about hearing that kind of news though – say your loved one walked in and then proposed that he is going to use someone else’s identity when he applies for a teaching job.
Fizz just knows he’ll get caught by the police and will end up back prison, so as she doesn’t want to lose her partner for the second time she pleads with him to no go ahead with his dumb plan.
Well John may have been a great teacher but his definitely not all that clever when it comes to listening to Fiz – that’s right he applied for the job anyway and obviously Fiz got furious.
Now it seems that after Fizz had a chat with Ken, John’s over-exaggerated excitement is pulling her more and more into the scenario without caring about how illegal it is anymore (and that’s what you’ll see tonight being revealed in this drastic story).
It was without doubt that John would get the job for his new teaching position tonight, so the waves of joy that were already radiating from him are going to increase even more in his household.
The happiness for the situation doesn’t last for very long though as on Friday’s episode something pops up that could effectively reveal John’s real identity and all the lies he made in the process, all on his very first day back at teaching! So don’t forget to watch Friday’s showing this week if you want to find out what could destroy John’s teaching dreams on his first day in a new school.
Plus this Corrie storyline is carrying on into to next week so stay tuned to see what has planned for John’s lies. They question has also been raised as to whether Coronation St is teaching people about identity theft, as that is exactly what John is doing, or are corrie just making the public more aware of the identity theft situation which is already rife in the UK?
