Last week was the second from last episode of Skins, and maybe for many the very last episode there and then! After all Skins fans witnessed their much loved star Freddie, a character played by Luke Pasqualino, get beaten to death with a baseball bat by his girlfriends psychiatrist – forums on the internet were bombarded with comments full of anger towards this brutal act.
According to the Sun, Skins fans were not the only ones who felt that last week’s episode was wrong and that there was no need for it…many different mental health charities also “slammed the E4 show”.
The only motivation that Dr John Foster (the psychiatrist) had in killing Freddie was that he became very attached, obsessed even, with Effy Freddie’s girlfriend and after he told Dr Foster to back off – it obviously resulted in his John’s mental state to determine that there was only one solution left and that was to kill of the problem!
This murder was the first that Skins series has ever done and it definitely didn’t go down very well with the viewing public, so much that even 1 fan wrote on a forum,
“There was no need to do that to Freddie. You’ve definitely lost your fans.”
Plus it is quite true what a woman from Young Minds said, “It could stop young people getting help.” It certainly could stop that, especially as so many young teens watch this series.
Although there seemed to be hundreds of unkindly comments about the latest episode on the internet, Channel 4 themselves spoke out and said that in fact there was literally only 11 complaints made due to the fact that viewers expect storylines such as this.
They were quoted as saying, “The audience expect adult content.” Seeing as this week’s episode is the finale to these last 2 series of Skins I suppose they had to make the ending more dramatic and entertaining although I wonder how many fans will really ‘NOT’ watch the final episode?

It has been reported that 3 episodes of Eastenders this week will be dedicated to Ronnie and Roxy, the Mitchell sisters. So if you want to see these girls in action simply tune into Eastenders from 8pm on Monday, 7:30pm on Tuesday and 7:30pm on Thursday.
If you do decide to watch Monday’s show then you will witness Danny try and conjure up another one of his devious plans as he tries to persuade Ronnie into purchasing the Beauty Salon in Albert Square.
We then see trusting Ronnie agree to Danny’s suggestions, but her path is stopped when she finds that an unknown buyer is also bidding on the salon – I bet she really wants to find out who that person is! I wonder if Danny has got anything to do with it…
On Tuesday we find Roxy joining Ronnie in the Beauty Salon plan and they both head for auction to win it. So that’s just a little clip we get to see of these girls on Tuesday as there’s a bigger storyline beginning on that day; a new face is in town and she’s looking for her father!
How does that relate to Ronnie or Roxy then? Well on Thursday it seems that Ronnie has figured who the father is to the new girl, but even though she knows who he is she doesn’t know whether she wants to let the girl know; speculating whether the girl is better without him or not. Really does Ronnie have the right to do that!?
That’s a very short storyline, being solved on the next episode but even though Ronnie knows the father does that mean Eastenders will let their viewers in on the secret or will they make us wait that bit more? There’s just one why to find out and like always, you have to keep tuning in!

We all witnessed Stacey last month confess to her new father-in-law that she was the one who killed Archie Mitchell and as we know the identity of the killer was revealed on their 25th anniversary live show! So far Max has kept his daughter-in-law’s and ex lover’s secret, while the whole square (including the police) think that Bradley was Archie’s killer.
Unfortunately he fell to his death before having a chance to defend himself and Max can only take so much of all these lies. Well the Sun has revealed that within a few weeks time Max wants to clear his son’s name on Eastenders and the only way he can do that is to get Stacey to confess, well wouldn’t we all!
In 6 weeks time, to date, BBC1 will be airing this troubled scene on our TV screens and this will be the night when we see a whole new light to Max and to be honest I don’t think I’m going to like it. After searching for guilty Stacey, he finally tracks her down and very heavy handily shoves her into the car, maybe a little bit too heavy handily – she is pregnant after all.
After all this time Stacey has thought she’d gotten away with the murder, although she must have had a heavy load of guilt and despair weighing on her shoulders. So no wonder the pregnant widow put up a fight to Max, with as much strength as she had left but obviously it weren’t enough.
So for the next 6 weeks there will be a few things we’ll be waiting to find out about from the Eastenders soap:
1 – Will Max get Stacey to confess?
2 – Will Stacey get away?
3 – Was the heavy force Max used on Stacey too much?
4 – Will her baby survive?
6 weeks is not that long really, you can still tune into Albert Square for now and watch the build up to this soon to be fiery scene! As always there is bound to be lots of (soap turbulence) along the way.

Everyone who has been watching the Emmerdale soap lately will have witnessed the conniving Cain force Charity into his wedding scheme and tonight seems to be the night when his plan is swiftly going to be put into action.
No-body else seemed to know about this wedding, so when he finally lets the cat out the bag to the Dingle clan – no wonder there all in surprise, no one saw it coming!
While all of this action is taking place it seems that Cain has got someone else to do his dirty work for him, well someone needs to get the unwilling bride to the “registry Office” and on time! Who knows she may just do a runner, so that’s why Cain has put Chas in charge to make sure Charity makes it. Will this story have a happy ending though? If it does, who’s…?
We wont have to wait long to find out what Charity decision is on her “supposedly” big night as tonight’s show will reveal all – there’s even some revenge plotting going on between some of the other characters on Thursday night too.
Emmerdale is one of the longest running soaps on TV and it is currently being sponsored by the online bingo site of Tombloa Bingo.
That’s not the only story line taking place in tonight’s 30 minute episode; Aaron and Holly are back in the picture when we see the ex-boyfriend invite Holly to the ceremony in hope that the pair will get back together and give their relationship 1 more chance. But as we know Aaron is currently battling against his sexuality behind the scenes and in fact seems to prefer guys to girls.
Finally last but not the least, Emmerdale is bringing Maisie and Ryan into this Wednesday episode and we are seeing a whole new light from the pair. Already we have seen incredible scenes between the characters and now it seems that they are finally moving on from their unfortunate past to a brighter future. At least someone’s happy in tonight’s programme………or are they!

Now that the Gossip Girl series has returned to our TV screens there seems to be more than just one mystery going on this Wednesday. But I wonder will it all be worth it in the end when the mystery is finally solved?
Or will the teens even solve their mysteries? Well there is only one way to find the answer to those questions and that is to watch Gossip Girl this on-coming Wednesday night at the hour of 9pm on ITV2.
First up, Chuck thinks his family has got a mystery brewing of their own and when he comes to believe that a locket will reveal the answers to that, he is determined to unravel the clues. But has Chuck got a fully focused head on shoulders or is his determination to find answers blind sighting him of a bigger picture? His friends certainly think so!
While all this is happening, Damien is found in Jenny’s bedroom – well that’s a little strange, what is he doing in there? Lily is asking herself the same questions, and as the Fabulous magazine reveal; Lily is not going to stop searching until she finds out the truth of this little mystery!
This week’s show is going to have us up to our eyes in solutions, answers, theories and so on – will you get the plot right though? Like in the above, just tune in tomorrow night to see all this action take place before you very eyes and no doubt we will all be on edge waiting for these mysteries to unravel!
New York just seems to be full of secrets, mysteries and scandal and you can bet there’ll be a lot more of this floating about in next week’s episode to – but which of these impressive teenage New Yorker’s will be in the spotlight then?
