Simon Cowell’s Pet Mouse
Simon Cowell has now officially gained a new household member in his Los Angeles home, but this ‘now’ permanent guest is not what you would expect. Whilst dithering about in his dressing room at the ‘American Idol’ studio, Simon came face to face with a very small animal, a mouse!
That’s right and a source, close to the matter, spilled the beans about this encounter to the ‘National Enquirer’ magazine, this is what they revealed,
“Simon actually took the mouse home to his mansion on Los Angeles. He then stayed up half the night feeding it milk. Simon became so attached to his new little pet, he even took it on trips.”
It’s nice to hear of a softer side of Simon Cowell, you know I think the rumours are right, Simon being with his fiancée Mezhgan, is definitely rubbing off the right effect on him – our stone cold Simon is losing his shell!
But then, we’ve always known that Simon has always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds, so no wonder, when he saw the stray mouse in his dressing room he took it home. I bet that mouse was glad it went wondering about; it must have been fate!
Unfortunately, no matter how much love Simon has for animals he is never able to obtain one for himself as he is always on the go. He said,
“When I was growing up, we had pets, and I was taught early on that you have to respect animals. I don’t have pets now, simply because I travel too much to take on the responsibility. But owning pets has had an immensely positive effect on my life and I think animals deserve out protection.”
A very passionate statement there from the man himself. Well who knows, now that Simon is all set to settle down with his wife-to-be, it may be the perfect time for him to get a few pets to call his own and no doubt his pet will be a dog! We all know how much he loves dogs, especially if their talented!
