Simon Cowell Leaving Britain’s Got Talent

One of the most famous judges throughout the world, Simon Cowell may be giving up his position on the current TV series Britain’s Got Talent. It was announced this morning on the radio, and Female First picked up this information straight away!
As we know he is the head judge on the show as well as the X Factor and American Idol, plus he first brought Pop Idol into the picture too. But now seeing as there is only 1 good act in between every 20 or so contestants on Britain’s Got Talent that our “Mr Nasty” has simply has enough.
He has recently said, “I like the show, but it takes a hell of a lot of time. You sit watching horrific acts and think ‘I genuinely can’t do this anymore’.”
So you heard it from the man himself, apparently nothing has been finalised yet, as he also commented, “I will eventually leave but nothing has been decided yet.” So Mr Cowell probably sit this series out as he has already begun but next year he may not be judging the contestants throughout the audition stages; he may just return in the semi-finals and just judge the greater performances of the series.
If this course of action does become a reality then you can bet next years contestants will be over the moon to not audition in front of “Mr Nasty”, although his decisions are usually right.
But then who will take his spot as head judge and who will become the new judge on the panel – maybe he’ll give Louie a personal place on the panel seeing as he loved filling in when Simon was absent from being ill.
Although apparently Piers didn’t like the fact Louie was assigned as head judge when he did fill in for Simon, so maybe Piers will grab that position next year if he is still doing the show and if Simon quits the audition stages. We’ll just have to wait and see!
