Samuel L Jackson Stars in Mother and Child
Over the years we have seen Samuel L. Jackson in many action-packed movies, so maybe it’s about time he takes on a role that’s not so, well full action and destruction.
Samuel L Jackson is going to be starring in a new movie called ‘Mother and Child’ directed and written by Rodrigo Garcia, he’ll also be co-starring with Naomi Watts in the film and he’ll be taking on the character of an ‘everyday guy’ no destruction involved, at least I don’t think their is.
The star actor spoke to IESB.net and said, “You know, it’s as exciting to step into the skin of this particular character as it is to be Nick Fury, or anybody else. It’s the story. That’s the exciting thing.”
So Jackson, it seems, is really looking forward to playing this new guy and really wants to get to grips with the characters whole personality. Also Jackson has got so much praise for Rodrigo Garcia and couldn’t but express his feelings about that matter,
“How does that dude get in touch with his feminine side that well to make that happen? I’m just thankful he wrote a role like that for a guy.”
Well during his new movie we may just see a more feminine side of Samuel L. Jackson ourselves, who knows he may even surprise himself. But right now you can seem Samuel and his action-full self as the character of Nick Fury in the recently released Iron Man 2, but his also got some other projects in the line up to be taken on at the latter part of this year – one being a movie called ‘The Other Guy’.
Here he’ll star alongside more famous faces such as Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell; boy is that a great looking movie – the girls are going to love it!
