Russell Brand gets Hammered on Stag Do
Comedian and actor Russell Brand finally let his hair down this weekend after a stressful few weeks. Russ who is set to marry pop sensation Katy Perry in a few weeks went on an eventful weekend stag around London with some celebrity pals.
The weekend was arranged by Brands close friend Nik Linnen, and started off at a Hertfordshire hotel (The Grove) on Saturday morning, where mates such as Noel Gallagher, David Walliams, Carl Barat and David Baddiel gathered.
At 11:30am a bus took the mob up to Upton Park to watch Russell’s favourite team West ham beat London Rivals Spurs 1-0… good start. The next stop was Gordon Ramsey’s famous York & Albany restaurant for a private seating, Jonathan Ross turned up to get the party started, amazingly the pair didn’t get themselves in trouble.
The party really started for the lads when they arrived at Peter Stringfellow’s strip club in Soho at 12:30am.
Eventually the party goers gave in and returned to The Grove at 1:45am Sunday morning, only to wake up early for a raft building competition. The weekend was finally capped of with a quite diner at the hotel which involved a lot less alcohol than the night before, let’s put it that way.
It is great to see Russell wasn’t spotted getting up to his old bad habits, it seems like Katy has tamed the ex sex pest after all.
Meanwhile Katy Perry’s appears to be to hot for children’s TV as her play date with Elmo from Sesame Street was axed! Brand found this extremely funny and posted various comments on his Twitter page, including “Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sex-with-me Street?”
Katy later commented on her Twitter page “Wow, looks like my play date with Elmo has been cut short!”
