Russell Brand Embarrassed by Gallagher
When you speak very highly of someone to someone else, you expect that person to live up to the positive description that you have given them – but as some of us may have experienced, that’s not always the case.
Now Russell Brand is a victim of this, quite humiliating situation and has come forward to speak about the recent event he experienced and the feelings that he felt too. But first things first, let’s find out who was involved!
Basically Russell Brand had been speaking about Noel Gallagher to Jonah Hill in a very positive manner and how much of a ‘nice’ man he is, but when the pair (Jonah and Noel) met, spark flew all over the place – and I’m on about the sparks you feel when you meet someone new and feel a connection, oh no I’m on about those dangerous, argumentative sparks!
That’s right, the pair broke out into an argument seconds after meeting one another, so you can imagine the embarrassment that Russell must have felt.
This is what Brand had to say about the matter,
“I was really embarrassed, ‘cause I’d been telling him (Hill) how nice he was. He was like a drunk uncle.”
We don’t know how the argument took action, why it started and what it was about but we do know that Jonah Hill thinks that it was all Noel’s doing and that he honestly didn’t even know fully what it was about himself, he said,
“I met him (Gallagher) once on Russell’s radio show (in England) and somehow, immediately got in an argument with him that I had nothing to do with! He was really surly.”
Well I wonder what Noel’s side of the story is to this little situation that was an humiliation on Russell’s behalf, annoyance on Jonah’s but probably entertainment for whoever was watching or listening; but will we ever find that out, is the question!
