Russell Brand braves illness to attend Premiere
Russell Brand was seen heavily dressed in a big coat, scarf and woolly hat at the Premier of new film Despicable Me in which he gives voice to nutty inventor Doctor Nefario.
It seems like Brand needs a voice himself as the usually outgoing comedian was seen looking rather glum leaving the Premier bash early before the film preview had started. Maybe he misses his wife to be Katy Perry as she left him to fly back to the States to prepare for her massive world tour.
According to The Sun brand commented on how he feels saying “I have been a bit poorly, actually. I think I’m just worn out”. He has been a very busy man lately what with the filming he is also currently promoting his new book.
He also admitted he is already missing Katy, who left him in the UK yesterday after a very brief visit.
He said “Katy’s busy, she’s got a big album out and stuff and I miss her all the time. I love her – but I see enough of her. – I probably will go on bits of the tour, just so I can see her”.
He also made comments about the Russell brand waxwork that is now displayed in Madame Tussaud’s after being revealed yesterday. According to The Sun he comically said “He seems like a nice sort of fella. I just hope he goes out in the world and fulfils his dreams – and stays out of trouble”. Although Brand hasn’t yet got a chance to see the Wax model in real life, he has however seen photos.
Maybe he will see Katy this weekend when the pop star performs on Sunday’s live X-Factor results show. The pair will tie the knot later on this month… better keep that sheepskin coat on and get well soon Russell!
