Robert Pattinson looks for new Lead Role
Face it ladies, we all love Mr Robert Pattinson for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, but from his role in ‘Remember Me’ we now know that he is not a 1 character actor, so being so talented he is obviously going to want to expand his horizon and try out a range of roles.
Plus, honestly I think his a little sick of just being noticed as Edward Cullen and really wants to get his teeth into something more demanding. By the sounds of it (according to Female First) he has found exactly what he’s been looking for!
Now a source revealed to the Sun newspaper that Robert is in fact “a huge fan of the novel” ‘Kill Your Friends’ so obviously when he heard they were turning it into a film he is going to want to star in it and as the leading male role to.
The part that he has asked producers if he can play is the role of a man named ‘Steven Stelfox’, who is an Artist and Repertoire (A&R for short) of a fictional record label.
According to the novel Steven is on the lookout for new singers, whether they are bands or solo artists; whilst this is going on he has also got a heavy lifestyle that consists of illegal substances – not just drugs but prostitutes too! The source revealed,
“If he gets this role it will be the darkest part he’s ever played. It’s an incredibly adult character and is bound to shock his fan base.”
By the sound of the role, I think Robert will really do well, I think it will be a challenge but he’ll nail it; plus he already loves the novel and the character so he’ll definitely enjoy bringing it to life. If the producers of this new film decide to cast Robert as the leading male role I think the movie will rocket sky high, especially with the amount of fans Pattinson possesses!
