Robert Pattinson Goes in depth for Cullen

When it comes to Robert Pattinson getting himself into the character of Edward Cullen for the Twilight Saga, he claims he really has to go “in depth” about it all otherwise he won’t be able to portray the emotion that is needed.
Although, in the movies it may not look like his doing anything spectacular (apart from the inhuman qualities), it’s all of the eye contact, speech and movement that really gets out hearts racing. Have you not stopped and wondered, what is it really that makes you fall in love with a man, well vampire, who could kill you in a second?!
Well it’s all of those above small qualities that you thought you never noticed.
Pattinson insists that he doesn’t go into that much “in depth” when portraying over characters, he simply does this for the character of Edward and he explained why when talking to ‘Teen Hollywood’,
“I don’t feel confident unless I know more about the reasons why I’m doing things. I don’t really do that for other parts.”
It also appears that he wishes he could approach his character in the same way that Kristen approaches hers as he thinks she can “just feel things immediately” and when it comes to actually putting her characters emotions across, it’s “obvious” to her as to what she should do.
Well, he shouldn’t worry too much as he definitely hits the nail on the head with his character in the end so it doesn’t matter how long it takes him to get there. We’re grateful too otherwise his character wouldn’t be as good as the way he already portrays it!
Don’t forget Twi-hard fans that the 3rd instalment to the franchise, ‘Eclipse’, is going to be released on the 9th July and this is the best news yet – the cast and crew are going ahead with the final book and they will be turning it into a 2 part film as it is so long. I wonder where they will make the cut?
