These bumpers have been made by Hero Media and feature red London buses, which are also the Red Bus Bingo logo, and two competing families. The families are playing bingo out on the London streets and they have to spot call numbers on the London buses and mark them on their bingo cards.
These adverts were filmed at different locations in Camden, near the London Eye and near Big Ben. All the filming was completed in just one day but that also meant that the crew and ‘contestants’ had to race all across the city to complete the filming. The shots show lovely sunny weather though there were plenty of heavy showers through the day.
The two teams or families are Hall and Oswald and family Oswald ultimately wins. Elements of the bingo game and the All Star Family Fortunes format have been combined for this series of bumpers.
The All Star Family Fortunes is an excellent choice for Red Bus Bingo for the sponsorship deal. Bingo is traditionally a social and interactive game and families have often had fixed nights where they played bingo together at their local bingo club.
