Preston Says Drug addiction ruined his Marriage
Celebrity Big Brother housemate Preston revealed that it was his drug habits that wrecked his 10 month marriage with Chantelle Houghton.
The ex ‘Ordinary Boys’ front man said earlier this week that he was heavily hooked on pills, which forced him off the rails. It is reported that he often wake up bleeding on his bathroom floor in the morning not knowing how he got there.
The ‘Boys will be boys’ singer was addicted to taking various pills which consisted of Prozac pills and sleeping pills. He would take these pills whilst downing boozy cocktails.
The 28 year old has suffered from insomnia since his teenage years, and the pill popping started there, however it wasn’t until later on when he started getting wildly addicted to pills.
The Daily Star published a quote made by Preston referring to his problems apparently he said, “The Sleeping pill I would take was called Zolpiden, and I would take up to 70mg a night. People overdose on less”.
Over the last two years Preston has suffered from pill abuse the end of his marriage and the break up of his successful band The Ordinary Boys. Now he is apparently happy, off the pills and ready for love again.
It seems like things are on the up for Preston and Chantelle, the pair had a 24 hour love-in after finally being reunited in the Ultimate Big Brother house.
Chantelle hasn’t had the easiest of times herself following the previous break up. It was reported the other week that the 27 year old was seriously depressed at the time of the break and she was once very close to taking her life.
Lets hope the two fairytale lovers can finally live happily ever after when they get out of the BB house.
