Mecca Bingo say Britain’s Got Talent
Mecca Bingo say (Britain’s Got Talent) which is not that surprising really after the deal they have just pulled off. A brand new themed Britain’s got talent bingo game will now be making its way to Mecca Bingo and they have the exclusive rights to this for the next three years.
The Rank group owners of Mecca Bingo announced a few days ago that they had now signed a deal with Fremantle Media Enterprises (FME), the brand extension arm of producers Fremantle Media. This makes them the official online gaming partner of the smash hit TV show Britain’s got talent, judged by the one and only Simon Cowell and team.
As we know singer Susan Boyle became an overnight sensation after appearing on Britain’s got Talent last year and even though she did not go on to win the show, she has taken the UK and America by storm. Her audition also clocked up over 2 million views online, which was one of the most hits a video on Youtube had ever seen.
Speaking about the deal, Angus Nisbet, Director of Gaming for parent company Rank Interactive said, “We are very excited to be joining forces with one of the UK’s most successful TV brands, in the first deal of its type for meccabingo.com. This deal will give us exposure to a new audience, including the opportunity to promote meccabingo.com to Britain’s Got Talent fans. It will also enable us to enhance our offering to our existing customers. For example we will be able to give them the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes including trips to Britain’s Got Talent auditions and live shows.”
As part of this deal between Mecca Bingo and Fremantle Media, Mecca Bingo also have the rights to Britain’s got talent branding. So they are able to use their logos, theme tune and graphics etc. The all new Britain’s got talent themed bingo room is currently in the making and should be available to Mecca Bingo players shortly.
This is certainly exciting times for the Mecca Bingo team and with Britain’s got talent still to be aired on our TV screens for this year, this really could be a smash hit deal for them.
