Hayley Tammaddon Wins Dancing on Ice
We have all seen how the ex-Emmerdale star, Hayley Tamaddon flew across the skating rink on her first ever skate on Dancing on Ice and ever since then we have grown to love her skating even more.
She has been the bookies favourite ever since day 1 and if there was ever a celebrity skater who should deserve the winning 1st place spot it was her and she only went and got it!
On Sunday night, 28th March we saw Hayley skate 3 incredible routines (one of which we have already seen before) and got basically top marks! 29 out of 30 marks for the off-ice flying routine, full marks 30 out of 30 for the Bollywood routine which she already danced earlier in the series and got full marks for that too. Last, but not least the finale Bolero routine that her and her skating partner, Daniel Whiston, choreographed with required elements!
That routine is what brought Hayley to the victory she deserved, as it was so affectionate and graceful that it probably brought a lot of people, out of the millions that were watching, to tears. But that wasn’t the only routine that brought someone to tears, ‘Dancing on Ice’s’ own judge Emma Bunton had waterfalls streaming from her eyes when Hayley and Daniel finished their flying routine, she said on air,
“I’m so emotional, your transitions were incredible. I feel emotional because I know how much you’ve worked for this and you’re doing it with one of your best friends and it just was magical.”
So there you have it, she was favourite throughout and at the top of the leader board almost every week, congratulations to Hayley.
Even Gary Lucy, who came in 2nd place, knew that Hayley deserved to be crowned the winner of Dancing on Ice 2010 as he announced,
“Hayley was fantastic. Her win was thoroughly deserved.”
