It has been recently revealed that Coronation street actress Samia Smith has split up with property developer husband Matthew. Mother of one Samia, 28 was spotted looking sad but forced to carry on as normal as she travelled to Granada studios for work.
The Corrie star is said to be finding the spilt after a five year marriage difficult. Samia who most famously plays Weatherfield’s Maria Conner wed Mathew 34 near their shared Cheshire home in September 2005. The once happy couple then went on to have a Daughter Freya who was born in October of 2009.
A close source suggests that things were only looking rocky with the pair shortly before the split and a mere two months ago the couple seemed extremely happy and smitten with each other.
With Samia declaring her love for Mathew in interviews, saying what an excellent father he is to 15 moth old daughter Freya. She also revealed to Now magazine that Mathew was her rock throughout her pregnancy and she would have struggled without him.
But the reason for their sudden separation still remains unclear. However Samia and Mathew have insisted that their separation and presumed divorce was a mutual decision between the pair and no one else was involved the reasoning for their split.
A close source has revealed that Samia’s main concern now is for daughter Freya. While only a couple of months ago Samia was caught up in the lime light regarding her budding romance to Mathew and telling romantic stories about Mathew in interviews, Samia is now deciding to reveal very little about the causes of her spilt to Matthew in order to protect her daughter.
A tabloid source has also suggested that Samia will be remaining friends with ex lover and soon to be ex husband Mathew for Freya’s sake.

2010 was a hectic year for Cheryl Cole, the Parachute singer is thinking of taking time out and getting a way for a while to relax… who could blame her?
The Geordie revealed in a recent interview “It would be nice to take six months out and got to a mountain top and just meditate, let myself go”. This isn’t a guarantee that she is defiantly going put a stop to her busy life for a while but it is what she wants and if its not true now you would think one more bad thing and Chezza will parachute off for a while.
Cheryl as you may know endured a public split from football ace Ashley Cole, she also battled then potentially fatal Malaria. There was a bit of sweetness in the end for her as she seems to be happy with her new man Derek Hough, even though they aren’t an official item yet.
Meanwhile Cheryl’s old Girls Aloud pal Sarah Harding has taken the next step with her love life, she and her DJ man will be getting married! Tom Crane, 29 proposed on New Years Day.
Ecstatic Sarah soon after spread the good news to her best mates by texting them saying she was “buzzing” about the proposed marriage.
A close source told The Sun newspaper “Sarah is absolutely thrilled. She didn’t see it coming at all. When he went down on one knee it came as a huge surprise. – Their relationship has gone from strength to strength since they moved in together. They are inseparable. Tom has shelled out on a big sparkler to let everyone know she’s now taken”
The pair got together around three years ago after splitting with her ex-lover journalist Joe Mott. She has also previously talked about having kids with Tom saying that “Tommy wants loads”.

Katie Price has always been in the spotlight with her bust ups with previous partners and it seems like the arguments are getting bad between her and Alex.
The bust ups have gotten so bad that Katie is scared Alex will leave her. It comes after Alex did something he very rarely if not never does in an argument with his lover… stand up to her.
The most recent argument was sparked when Katie flew out to Vegas without Alex, the pair got married there last year and a source told Now Magazine that Alex was “Fuming” when he heard that she went without him. She flew out and after being pampered in a hairdressers she went to watch UK boxer Amir Khan in his championship fight.
The source also said “he pointed out that she has never been to Vegas before meeting him nor had she ever watched a fight before, and now she is going without him- it doesn’t help that he knows she fancies Amir to bits and they where previously linked after going out for the night together in the summer”.
In an attempt to get back at his wife Alex decided to go out on the town without her as he proved two can play the game. the source revealed he run up huge £30,000 bar bill on Krug champagne and Baileys cocktails.
The source talking to Now suggested that Alex has had enough “of being treated like dirt” apparently most of the time the only woman he is aloud to talk to is his mum!
He has been snapped by the paparazzi chatting and flirting with different females and it appears now that he just don’t care what Katie thinks.
Katie being herself wont like this, so is the fairytale marriage about to come to an ending? Will her being “scared” of Alex leaving be enough to keep their marriage alive or has Alex really had enough?

Pop legend Elton John has finally got his wish for a baby with his husband David Furnish after surrogate mum gave birth to their baby boy Zachary Levon Furnish-John on Christmas day The pairs Christmas gift came in the afternoon and weighed 7lb 15oz.
The surrogate mother is being kept a close secret at this moment in time as is the name of the biological father. Elton stated he was “overwhelmed with happiness” at the birth of his son. The 63 year old who married David in 2005 was congratulated by a whole host of A-list celebs.
Elton David and baby Zachary are currently in America however are planning on flying home to the UK very soon. In a joint statement Elton and David said “Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents”
The baby was born in California to avoid the surrogacy laws in UK which wouldn’t allow the mother to surrender the new-born.
TV personality Piers Morgan made one of the best Tweets when he posted “Feel such a fool – Sir Elton never even hinted he was pregnant during our interview.”
Elton now looks to spend time with his family after recently retiring from the music after admitting his music can no longer compete with the likes of Lady Gaga in the charts.
It has been vowed by Elton and David that the biological father will not be declared. A source told The Sun newspaper “He and Elton made a pact that they are equal parents – no one will ever know who the biological father is. They will deal with whether Zach is told, if and when the time arises in the years ahead”
Elton has come out before and said he would love to keep his bloodline going, and this was underlined after a friend told The Sun “Elton was clear he wanted his bloodline to continue but also took on board advice that a younger man may be a more appropriate donor. It is a very complicated arrangement – but one forged by love.”

X factor champion Matt Cardle has been spotted coming out of hotels after 4 days of passion with one of the dancers from the ITV talent show.
Matt started seeing the beautiful Sarah Robinson towards the end of the series and it seems as if the fling has spilled over a little bit. 27 year old Essex boy Matt spent the Christmas period with his family and just chilled out, however it appears he was just saving himself for the 24 year old Geordie.
It is reported by The Sun the pair have hardly left their luxury room at the Malmaison Hotel since checking in on. They where finally seen on Friday morning having breakfast with each other.
A source said that Sarah is “Stunning” and that Matt is “a very lucky boy”.
It isn’t the only female Matt has been linked with from the X-Factor show, he was reported he had a fling with chief stylist Grace Woodward and then with make-up artist Lauren Clements. He was also snapped snogging with ex S Club 8 singer Stacey McClean when celebrating his number one Christmas song ‘When we collide’.
It has been told by a source that Sarah is more than just a fling and that they are now an item, the source told The Sun “They were getting close during their routines, but the flirting was spilling over after the show. – Matt travelled to Newcastle and they checked into the Malmaison where they’ve been holed up ever since. They have gone from strength to strength”.
Sarah is an accomplished dancer who has danced for stars like Paul McCartney and Shirley Bassey. She was actually banned from dancing for the shows boy band One Direction due to her stunning looks making the lads struggle to with their lines. .
