Gala Bingo Matchmakers
Gala Bingo could become the ‘matchmakers’ of the bingo industry after two of their online bingo players met whilst playing bingo in their chat rooms, fell in love and now plan to marry in Las Vegas this month. Catherine Whitehead and Julian brook, are both avid Gala Bingo players and it is playing online bingo that has now changed their lives forever.
Catherine comes from Preston and Julian from Hull, which means they live around 120 miles apart, so if it were not for the bingo chat rooms provided by Gala Bingo, odds are the now happy couple would never have met.
Julian and Catherine started off by saying (GL), which is the online bingo slang for good luck, to each other in chat. This then progressed into them chatting about everything and anything until their online relationship went even further. Instant messaging and webcam chats followed, so the pair could get to know each other better, until they finally plucked up the courage to meet in person and as they say – It was game set and bingo match from then on.
“One evening I called Julian at midnight and we spoke until 7am,” said Catherine. “I’d never felt this way about anyone before, it just felt so comfortable from the start. The first time they met there was an instant mutual attraction. Catherine added: “We already knew each other really well because we’d spent hours online and on the phone chatting. Meeting each other face to face in Hull just confirmed how compatible we were.”

Catherine and Julian are still currently living apart, but manage to see each other at weekends, where it is love, romance and Gala Bingo all the way. The happy couple often go to Gala Bingo land based bingo clubs together, play online Gala Bingo together and even watch Gala Bingo TV as well! You could say that it Gala Bingo all the way for Catherine and Julian, which makes us wonder if they also have a bingo theme planned for their wedding.
