Florence Welch hits the Clubs

Florence And The Machine front woman Florence Welch enjoyed a clubbing night out at a transgender venue.

The flame head pop sensation enjoyed a whole host of bizarre events which occurred throughout the night, at one point one of the transvestite strippers showed the audience exactly what sex HE is.

Florence later sung the Beetles classic Let It Be, which was a great surprise to everyone who attended, Miss Welch was assisted by a resident transvestite performer (Virgina Plaid) rather than the ‘Machine’ who she is more recognised with.

Gavin And Stacy actor Matt Horne was among the intrigued audience.

Her band, Florence And The Machine is due to perform this weekend at the two V Festival venues. And according to Florence herself it will be the bands last performance of the summer as they look to crack on with the follow up album from their first ‘Lungs’.

Flo told BANG Showbiz “we’ve not got pimped out or anything like that. I don’t like big studios” she continued, “we’ll just go back to banging pots and pans, nothings really changed, we like to start very basic and stripped back”. The band is hoping to get into the studios to record around October time.

We may see the London singer use the guitar more often in the second album as she has already expressed her desires to do so in previous talks regarding the next record.

V Festival fans will be delighted to know that they are likely to hear some new material from the band, they played two new tracks recently at Glastonbury and they will “probably include them”

Has Florence Welch been inspired into a more outrageous performance at V? Has she got any tricks up her sleeve, as it is her last few gigs? I wonder if she got in contact with Virgina Plaid ahead of the sell out festival?
