Drowning on Coronation Street

Sometimes gambling your life with money does not always turn out to plan and sadly Joe on Coronation Street finds this out the hard way in this week’s episodes. Although his heart was in the right place his actions were in the wrong, but nobody knows the truth yet especially Gail.
This is the week when Joe’s death scam turns up-side down; on his and Gail’s holiday he finally finds himself confiding in Gail with his master plan, but who knew she would react in the way she did?
Once the beans were spilled that Joe is going to fake his own death by going out to sea, leaving his boat and sailing another smaller one to shore so that Gail can claim all of his life insurance, she begs him to reconsider.
He knows that if his body is not found, the world will announce him to be dead but really he’ll be living abroad. Although once a fight begins between the married couple (Gail refusing and Joe Pleading) he decides to go along with his plans anyway and sails away.
While Gail is standing watching the boat sail into the distance, little does she know that really out at sea Joe has been knocked into the ocean by the sails of his boat which leads to his death to be as fatal as drowning! As she waits for her husband to return to their cottage and realises his not turning up, she suspects his gone through with the plans.
Once she’s called David to help her look and they found his boat empty and un-occupied, the first thought that goes through Gail’s head is that Joe has really faked his own death not that he could really be dead!
Little does she know that her husband has gone overboard and has possibly died for real, so when will she know? Well you’ll just have to stay tuned into to Coronation Street this week to find out.
