Difficult Movie for Jessica Alba
Sweetheart Jessica Alba has got a new movie soon to be released in a few months time, but this movie wasn’t her usual choice of good-hearted, everyday kind of story. Oh no, this new movie is a thriller!
It’s called ‘The Killer Inside Me’ and is directed by Michael Winterbottom, I’m guessing this movie was a bit out of her comfort zone as she herself said that she found it ‘difficult’ to film. Female First found this comment Jessica made,
“It stays with you, especially this. It’s a difficult movie to shoot and it’s difficult to watch. It’s about a very dark subject so I think if you are being true and authentic then it does definitely affect you.”
Well I think anyone taking part in a make of a thriller would find the experience a little uneasy and disturbing, especially when there’s a police man who in fact turns out to be a “psychotic murderer”. She must have been on edge all of the time!
But Jessica was not the only one who found shooting scenes to be “difficult” as she also co-starred alongside with Kate Hudson.
Although the reason Kate found it slightly ‘difficult’ was that she had to shoot some very intimate scenes with her co-star Casey Affleck and when they were filming it was simply just herself, Casey and Michael the director in one room.
So you can just imagine the awkwardness she must have felt getting into character and ‘fooling’ around with one another until they got it right – plus their must have been a lack of space and personal comfort being disrupted.
This film is still not released yet, but it won’t belong until it comes to cinemas and you’ll be able to witness those scenes that came as a problem (to the cast) to shoot. I wonder how psychotic that policeman really is? If you like thrillers, it may be one to watch.
