Cheryl Tweedy Packs up Ashley Cole
As soon as those divorce papers are finalised and Cheryl’s and Ashley’s marriage in the trash, Cheryl is going to get rid of the biggest reminder of her life with Ashley Cole – their £3.5 million mansion in Surrey!
Well I say ‘good on her’ why does she need or should have reminders, day in and day out about the happy and bad times of her life with Ashley? She is right, to just pack up and go, move completely out of that part of England and start somewhere fresh.
That is exactly what she is going to do! Once she and Ashley are officially divorced, she will be putting their historical property on the market and will be moving to a smaller house based in West London (according to the Sun newspaper).
It seems that she wants to be in West London so that is makes it easier for her to access work and she also wants to be close to Heathrow airport, so that it will make flying easier and maybe even to see Derek Hough quicker!
Obviously she is going to make a bundle of money when her house is sold, not only for the reasons that she and Ashley lived in it, but because it has a lot of history.
It was actually used in WW2 for Canadian troops who used it for their preparations of D-Day. After 2 and a half years of living in that house (as that bought back in the month of October in 2007) it will be back on the market, only in a situation like this, could anyone give up a home as beautiful as that?
Cheryl is probably not giving up the Surrey mansion just because it has too much history, yes including hers, but also the fact that she actually wants a smaller place to live as The Sun Newspaper noted – she will be living on her own, she won’t much space and she’ll probably be working ¾ of the time.
So why spend so much money on home, where ghosts will walk the halls more than she does?
