Cheryl Cole’s decision to out Gamu Nhengu of the contest has caused great controversy with the British public and now it seems that X factor judges Cheryl and Simon are still bickering over Cheryl not putting public favourite Gamu through to the live shows.

There has been speculation that that Cheryl’s choice had been influenced by producers to out Gamu of the contest due to visa problems.

However rumours have spread that Cowell has shed all responsibility onto Cheryl for kicking Gamu out of the competition and claims Cheryl’s decision had nothing to do with the produces and was entirely down to Cheryl’s choice alone.

A source has revealed that Gamu Nhengu and her family are under no pressure to leave the country due to the current unrest in Zimbabwe and have merely been asked to leave voluntarily. Although the Nhengu family have been advised that technically they are illegally living here. However it is said that Labour MP Gordon Banks and Secretary Michael Moore are currently trying to sort out the singer’s visa problems.

After putting Cher Lloyd,17 and Katie Waissel, 24 through who both made mistakes during their performances’ over flawless singer Gamu- it is understandable that Cheryl’s choice caused controversy in the public.

However since this incident Cheryl has felt victimised by the outrage of the public and a source says Cheryl has claimed “I’m being made a scapegoat over Gamu”. ITV received an estimated 1,000 complaints from angry viewers claiming that is was an unfair to kick Gamu out of the competition after giving pitch perfect performances unlike her fellow contestants who went through.

Gamu’s family were refused a new visa because they had received state handouts in the form of tax credits. The singers family lost their right to appeal due to an admin error delaying paperwork- meaning the family are now relying on a possible judicial review.
