Kings of Leon front man Caleb Followill has recently told reporters of the pressure he felt dealing with fame. The ‘Use Somebody’ singer claimed that he once it was so bad he felt like dead rock star Curt Cobain.

Curt Cobain was world wide icon and lead singer of famous band Nirvana, he committed suicide in 1994 after finding it to hard to handle being in the spotlight.

Caleb revealed his pain came from when the band started becoming more successful, according to The Sun he said “We were on the road and I’d just found out my house had been broken into. – On top of that the record was doing really good. That was my Kurt Cobain moment: I was hating success, I was scared and thought people are gonna think we did this on purpose and made this record so it could be big”

Everyone felt the stresses of Caleb even his audiences he revealed, during an interview with BBC6 Music he apologised to his audiences for taking it out on them.

One moment that he did apologise for is the bands performance at the 2009 Reading Festival where fans where left bitterly disappointed at their shorter than expected performance. Caleb even give the audience a few negative jibes.

This year however the band and Followill seem much fresher, the group played at another UK festival, this time V Festival and rocked the 70,000+ crowed with no problems.

They also have their new album ‘Come around sundown’ coming out very soon, the first single from the new album is titled ‘Radioactive’.

The clear minded Caleb and the rest of KOL are setting themselves for a huge UK tour which will see them take to many arena stages across the UK. tickets are still available for some shows.
