The cashcade group owners of Foxy Bingo and now a subsidery of PartyGaming (since being bought out) have renewed their bingo solution contract with Dragonfish – Part of the of 888 Ladies Bingo group.
We have been reliably informed that a brand new software bingo product is in the pipeline for Foxy Bingo and this is apprantly being built exclusively for them by the tech bods at PartyGaming. But this of course will take some time before it is ready and it will have to be fully test drove first. Estimantions are that is will be another year or so before it would be ready to go live.
So in the meantime it looks like Foxy Bingo and co will be sticking with bingo software provided for them effectively by their rivals, 888. The contract between 888’s B2B division (dragonfisih) and cashcade it set to run until May 2014, but even if Foxy does switch software products during this time, they still have a lot more bingo sites on the net running on dragonfish / globalcom software.
These currently include Think Bingo, Bingo Scotland, Cheeky Bingo, Getminted Bingo, Little Big Bingo and Foxy Zero. Out of all their online bingo sites, Foxy Bingo has always remained their (main stay) site and it is now a household name within the UK – As the same cannot be said for the likes of Think Bingo and Little Big Bingo etc.
However the fact that Foxy Bingo is a UK name known by most households is largely down to the massive advertising campaigns that they have been on throughout the years. When they first launch on the net they even associated themselves with glamour girl (Jordan) aka Katie Price – now (ried), however this partnership did not last long and when Katie’s contract was up they parted ways, reportedly because of she was asking for too much money at the time.
Other than virtue fusion bingo software, globalcom has got to be one of the most popular online bingo software products on the net with players. The ease of game play and graphics from globalcom is great, the only thing it really lacks in is variations of bingo games as it only currently offers either 90 ball or 75 ball bingo. Fix this and I would say they will rival virtue once again.

According to research commissioned by Gala Bingo, pets in the UK live the high life and then some, with half the nation’s pet owners confirming that they allow their furry friends to sleep in their beds. A step to far if you ask me………..after all that’s what dog and cat beds are for? But as they say, each to their own and all that!
What actually astounded me even more is that 49% of people surveyed by Gala Bingo stated that they would opt to sit on the floor whilst their pets lounged in animal bliss on the sofa……..ermm hello, are they completely barking mad? Or just dedicated pet lovers!
But, there was one point that seemed to let the (dedicated British Pet Lover) halo slip and that was when 10% of people stated that if their house was on fire they would try to save their mobile phone, before their beloved pet. I would personally go with the 90% of brits who would rescue their pet first.
Gala Bingo will be running a (pet hour) on their bingo TV show every Friday between 8pm and 9pm throughout April. They have even recruited TV vet Joe Inglis, to host the pet bingo show each week and this will be web-streamed live to their online bingo site, as well as being aired on TV.
