Bingo Entertainment Takeover Playnet

Free Bingo

The online bingo industry took a serious knock a few weeks ago when Interactive Playnet froze all their online sites and players accounts, which left them somewhat out in the cold with nowhere to go.

Many online bingo sites were affected including two newcomers to the world of online bingo Churchill Bingo and Fun Bingo. Both these bingo sites had recently launched on the internet powered by Interactive Playnet, but unfortunately due to circumstances out of their control they bit the bingo dust at lightning speed.

Thankfully there is now hope on the horizon for all former Interactive Playnet members as Bingo Entertainment Ltd have come to their aid by merging all Interactive players accounts into their own database, which has secured all funds for them.

Bingo Entertainment are one of the longest running companies in the online bingo industry, as they first established themselves in 1999. Online Bingo first hit the net back in 1996, so they were obviously pretty quick to spot a growing market and go with the flow.

CEO of Bingo Entertainment Ltd, Richard Chambers, said: “It is sad when you see something like this happen. Being one of the first online bingo operators, I have seen many, and I do mean many, bingo operations come and go during my 11 years in the business. Some have been fraudulent and others as is the case with Interactive Playnet, a simple issue of mismanagement.”

“Our Policy at Bingo Entertainment Ltd has always been slowly but surely. We don’t go over our heads and we always try and maintain all of our departments in-house. This gives us more control of our developments and operations at a much lower cost. It is this approach that has kept us way above our competitors and I am sure will do for many years to come.”

The takeover of Interactive Playnet by Bingo Entertainment Ltd, should put a bit of stability back into the online bingo industry, which has got to be good news. No one likes to see things like this happen, especially when you are talking about people’s money which was won fair and square online at the bingo sites involved, only to be left in online limbo whilst the Interactive mess was sorted out.

You cannot foresee something like this going on and the online bingo licensees of Interactive Playnet software, were as shocked as us about what unfolded, if not more so.
